VICTORIA Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course

The Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course is required for anyone aged 18 & older interested in upgrading a firearms license (PAL) to include restricted firearms.
Pre-requisite: Must have taken the Non-restricted firearms safety training course (CFSC)
Course length: 5 hours
Location: Esquimalt Anglers Association: 1101 Munro St, Victoria B.C
Does not include government licensing fee.
Course covers:
- Major parts, types and actions;
- Basic safety practices;
- Ammunition;
- Operating restricted firearm actions;
- Safe handling and carry procedures;
- Firing techniques and procedures;
- Responsibilities of the firearms owner/user; and
- Safe storage, transportation and handling of restricted firearms.
