What is a Permit to Accompany (PTA) in B.C.?
A Permit to Accompany (PTA) allows a qualified resident hunter in British Columbia to take up to two non-residents hunting for recreational purposes. This permit is designed for individuals who do not reside in B.C. but wish to hunt with a qualified resident hunter.

- Purpose of PTA: The PTA is intended only for recreational hunting and cannot be used for commercial guiding.
- Commercial Guiding: To guide non-residents for commercial purposes (i.e., when fees or compensation are involved), you must hold a valid guide outfitter licence.
